Workout Survey

The companies that provide exercise products value your opinions. You are always anonymous at our survey sites. Surveys change and questions are added from time to time so check back and tell your friends about these survey sites.
The workout is defined as any exercise plan that includes a regular schedule of running, lifting, and stressing, often with the use of mechanical equipment.
Imagine how many hours are expended each week exercising, showering afterwards, and laundering workout clothes. Imagine how much time is expended planning, talking, analyzing, fine-tuning, and reviewing workout routines, results, and failures. Imagine how much time is expended shopping for the just right foods and supplements. Imagine how many hours are expended shopping for equipment, clothing, and the "just right" paraphernalia. Imagine the detailed analysis time expended to consider the perfect diets, dieting, and food abstinence. Imagine how much pleasure is lost not eating & not doing enjoyable things more than exercising.
Is it conceivable that a smart person might have better ways to spend all that time each day, each week, each month?

1.  I maintain a voluntary workout routine that includes:
Running Treadmill
Walking Strength & muscle-toning equipment
Arm-swinging walks Little or no exercise
Weight training Exercise a few days each week
Body-building Exercise most days each week
Other:

2.  Please select each reason that motivates you to diet and/or workout. To stress & injure my joints, ligatures, and bones
To deprive myself of the pleasure of enjoying good food
To impress friends & bystanders
To waste time
To be cool
To stress my body's systems to the limits waiting for cardiac and vascular problems to appear soon or increase the possibility of systemic damage as I age

3.  People should spend their free time doing productive stuff. Agree... exercising is productive.
Agree... exercising is not really productive.
Some people I know go overboard with a compulsive need to exercise too much.
I exercise compulsively & too much.

4.  I exercise mainly to: Lose weight.
Socialize with friends and meet people.
Tone my muscles.

I never workout and yet I feel and look great !

5. I maintain my exercise routine but am concerned that years from now I may suffer from the stresses and forces applied to my body during workouts. I expect to have damaged knee & hip joints.
I expect to have pain in cartilage I damage during workouts.

I expect some excess muscle to turn to flabbiness as I age and am forced to workout less.
I expect to stay young and healthy forever & never suffer from damaged joints.

6. Exercise causes our adrenal gland to secrete the hormone adrenaline.  Adrenaline then causes the secretion of the male hormone, testosterone.
The excessive testosterone secreted into women's bodies through exercising contributes --- to varying degrees depending upon the individual woman and her exercise regimen --- to a gender shift (i.e., some loss of feminine characteristics with an increase in masculinity).
That makes sense.
That makes no sense.

Wow, I have observed that myself.

7.  A person's body will get flabbier than might be expected if he ever stops the exercise routine. Agree
Disagree

8. I believe healthy, well-adjusted people can work, cook, eat tasty foods, have kids, enjoy life and also attain a reasonable level of physical fitness without doing excessive workouts. Agree
Disagree

9.  The excessive need to exercise is actually: Exercising is part of the self-denial which includes not eating tasty foods, not buying a fun car, & being generally dissatisfied with my lifestyle.
Being unhappy with important aspects of our lives including spouse, kids, work, etc., etc.)
Being afraid of aging normally.
No big deal. I just want to get into shape.
No big deal. I just want to get into shape. That's why I spend hours & money, and avoid being home, & being with certain family members and friends.
